Helping you elevate your well-being and maintain a sense of balance.
Hi! I'm Anaïs
My yoga journey began in January 2021 when I relocated to the Netherlands for a job. It all started with only 10 minutes yoga every morning but I have never stopped since! It has now been part of my daily routine and transformed my life, mind and body in so many ways. It eventually led me to get certified to be able to teach and share my passion with others.
With over 3.5 years of dedication to my 6 am morning routine, including yoga, meditation, journaling, a nutritious breakfast, and sometimes more, I now offer personalised yoga classes and, very soon, invigorating morning routine series aimed at extending well-being beyond the mat. Through my own experiences and exploration of various approaches, I provide guidance on incorporating transformative daily habits tailored to each individual and their unique lifestyle, and I help to find ways to maintain those habits.
I remain a student of life, always on the lookout for sources of growth and inspiration.
Some random facts about me:
I'm utterly curious and hungry for life, so I'll try (almost) EVERYTHING, especially food-wise. Being extremely curious also helps me do things even when I'm afraid- like for example quitting my job twice with no other prospect just to live in Italy for a year or to start my own business.
I already lived in 4 different countries (in order France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands) and could imagine living in other countries (maybe somewhere in South East Asia one day?)
My parents emigrated to France when they were in their mid-20s, so I'm German by nationality but I do feel French as well. This caused me to have a lot of identity crises when I was younger. Now, I see this as a unique thing and am proud of it. I want to believe I have integrated only the positive aspects of both cultures.
I speak french and german because of my upbringing; english because I started watching movies in original version at a young age and it was my main language living for more than 3 years in the Netherlands, Portuguese because my partner is from Brazil, and a bit of Italian because I lived there for 1,5 years.
I love hiking and feel most at peace in the mountains. I'm not spending much money on materialistic stuff but I do not spare for my travels and I have had already the luck of traveling to amazing places. My most remarkable travels so far? South Korea and Brazil. I did my first solo travel ever to Vietnam and Cambodia which I will also never forget.
I'm afraid of taking the bike and a real danger on it, although I'm living in the most bike-friendly country.
How I keep balance: my non-negotiables
Yoga
I usually practice in the morning because it makes my day so much better and gives me a sense of accomplishment before the day has even properly started. But I do enjoy a nice and afternoon/evening session to go deeper into my practice.
Morning pages
Every morning, I fill three pages in my journal. I love putting pen to paper; it helps me process my thoughts and clear my mind, reducing rumination.
Take my time to savour a delicious breakfast
Breakfast is my favorite part of the day! I love taking the time to prepare and savour my nutritious meal. I usually have the same thing every day: a bowl of kefir with fruits, nuts, granola, and various toppings. Delicious!
